You can use this map to find cycle routes and points of interest near Delamford. The back roads are usually very quiet and there are designated cycle routes which lead North to Ayr and South to the Galloway Forest on National Cycle Route 7. The nearby villages of Barr, Dailly and Straiton offer plenty of choice for cyclists too as there are flat gentle routes and also some fairly hilly ones for those feeling a bit more energetic. If you don`t have your own bike, the village shop at Barr may be able to hire you one, subject to availability, at a rate of £12 per day. Maps of the local cycling routes are also available to buy there.

As with the other outdoor activities we promote, we offer transport to the route starting points and collection from the finishing points if you wish. Packed lunches are available to take with you, priced at £5 per person, and evening meals can be arranged for you either back at Delamford or at one of the many hotels and restaurants you will pass on the routes.
